Wedding Rings: Romance at its Finest!

Wedding rings are the outward sign that you are married. It has been a longstanding tradition for people to exchange these diamond wedding rings during their marriage ceremony to let everyone know they are now husband and wife. This tradition originated many years ago and is still widely recognized today.

It was once thought that the left ring finger contained a vein that traveled straight to the human heart. This was quite a romantic discovery, so people chose to wear their wedding rings on that specific finger to best exemplify their love for one another. Of course, modern science and medicine has disproved this theory, but how romantic was it? Although there is no magical love vein running from your finger to your heart, people still wear their wedding bands on this finger in a display of pure romance.

When it comes to choosing the kind of wedding bands you wish to wear on your fingers for the rest of your lives, you should certainly think about being practical and functional. The wedding rings serve to tell others you are married, so make sure they can be spotted from a mile away! Also, do not go overboard with too many decorations. They could fall off and become lost forever.
